Alfredo Sauce, with Seafood (Perhaps)

Melt butter in non-stick skillet over medium to medium-high heat. (More butter is required if a non-stick skillet is not used.) Saute green onions and garlic for about a minute. If desired, add scallops and shrimp. Saute for an additional 3 minutes, then reduce heat to medium-low. Add half-n-half, salt and pepper to taste. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly (don't boil). Stir in parmesan, and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve over pasta, perhaps with a salmon filet.
