The following names are taken from Das Rigische Schuldbuch (1286-1352), an account book written in Latin pertaining to Riga, Latvia. In this article, I have extracted the feminine names (since the source is (mostly) alphabetized by masculine name, making them much easier to find). In this version of the article, I have only included feminine names used as forenames, not those which occur in the context of relational bynames. Because the names are recorded in Latin, they often occur in an inflected form. I have restored these to the expected nominative form. Where such a form is uncertain, I have noted this.

Riga became a member of the Hanseatic League in 1282, a few years before the period covered by this article. The lingua franca of the League was a dialect of Middle Low German, and the influence of this language is evidenced in the names presented here, despite their Latinization, by the presence of diminutive forms such as Aleke, and partially vernacular bynames such as Schonejohannes.
