12-12 "Tasseomancy" is a technical term for the ancient art of divination by the inspection of tea leaves, specifically those floating in one's cup of tea. It occurred to me today, while eating a sandwich, that what the modern world really needs is divination by sandwich-droppings, those extraneous bits of topping and whatnot (lettuce, olives, crumbs of bread) which fall from any well-built (i.e. slightly ramshackle, constructed with a casual elegance) sandwich. Today's sandwich said: things will be slightly messy. The only problem is, "sandwichomancy" sounds dumb.
